Our Story
Technology that fits your business,
not the other way around

Running a hospitality or retail business today isn’t easy.
Staff are harder to find, wages keep rising, and customers still expect fast, great service, even when you’re running lean.
Truli exists to help owner-led businesses cope with that pressure, without sacrificing service, margins, or their own sanity.

Built on real experience
Truli is led by people who’ve spent their careers inside hospitality and retail, not just selling into it.
Howard Bottle, Managing Director, brings over 25 years of experience across retail and hospitality and is still actively involved in hospitality businesses today. He understands the daily pressure of protecting margins while trying to keep standards high and teams motivated.
Alongside him is Nick Turner Brown, Head of Sales, who has over 20 years of hands-on experience running bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Nick knows what happens on a Friday night when systems slow down, queues build, and you’re one problem away from service slipping.
Between them, they’ve seen the same issue play out again and again.
The real problem most businesses face
Most businesses aren’t badly run.
They’re being squeezed.
Staff shortages, rising wage costs, leaner teams, slower service at peak times, and owners being pulled back onto the floor just to keep things moving.
Too often, technology makes this worse.
It’s either too rigid, too generic, or sold because it suits the supplier rather than the business.
That’s where Truli takes a different approach.

We help you choose the right software, not just what we sell
Truli’s role isn’t to push a fixed system.
It’s to connect your business to the right technology setup for how you actually operate.
Sometimes that means supplying technology directly.
Sometimes it means configuring things differently.
And sometimes it means being honest and saying, "That’s not right for you, here’s what is."
That honesty matters.

How Truli helps in practice
Making life easier for your team
Everything starts with how your business really runs.
Truli looks at service flow, pressure points, where staff slow down, and where mistakes creep in during busy periods. Systems are then configured around your real processes, removing unnecessary steps, reducing friction, and making it easier for fewer staff to serve more customers confidently.
The result is a team that moves faster, makes fewer mistakes, and feels more in control, even on short-staffed days.
Making it easier for customers to spend
Queues, delays, and friction quietly cost businesses money.
Truli helps smooth customer journeys by reducing bottlenecks, speeding up ordering and payment, and improving flow during peak times, always supporting the human experience, never replacing it.
The result is faster service, happier customers, and increased revenue without needing to add more staff.
Giving owners clear, useful insight
Most owners don’t want more reports, they want clarity.
Truli sets systems up to provide clear, practical insight into sales, performance, stock, and profitability.
Meaning owners can see what matters today, not weeks later.
The result is better decisions, less firefighting, and more confidence.
What this really changes
When everything works together, businesses start to feel different.
Service improves, even with lean teams.
Margins are protected despite rising wage pressure.
The business becomes more predictable and easier to control.
For many owners, it’s the first time in years the business feels manageable again, not perfect, but finally under control.
Most importantly, owners get their role back, not just as problem-solvers, but as leaders.
Why Truli feels different
Truli isn’t about selling boxes, screens, or contracts. It’s about:
-
Supporting operators long after go-live
-
Being honest about what will and won’t work
-
Matching the right technology to the right business
Because when technology fits properly, it doesn’t just run your business.
It gives you breathing room again.
